Chelsea Mckayla is an Independent Toronto-based Christian R&B singer/songwriter, and entrepreneur that brings her own unique sound to not only R&B, but any music genre.

Starting her music journey in the church as a shy little girl with a love for music, Chelsea released her first single, “No Way” in February of 2024 with the help of a few friends. As she continues to find her sound, she uses her background in guitar and unique soul-filled tone to grasp her listeners.

Growing up with her Trinidadian parents in Scarborough, Canada, Chelsea was introduced to a variety of sounds and genres (Soca and Chutney, to Disco, Funk, Afro-beats, Throwback R&B and Pop) that inspires the music that she creates. Through her life, and in her songs, she seeks to be a light to those around her, helping them understand the love of God, but also using her musical upbringing to uplift spirits.

Hearing a tone similar to Lauryn Hill, Chelsea has many musical influences from artists like Tori Kelly, Rihanna, CalledOut Music, Madison Ryann Ward, and Alicia Keys.
